Dr. Yun Kim, DVM
He came from South Korea in 2007 and gained Canada and US veterinary License in 2008.
His vet career started in Macleod Trail Animal Hospital, Calgary, Alberta in 2008 and he learned how good old vets worked from Dr. McCarthy,
Dr. McConkey and Dr. Pyka and gained a great deal of experience for five years.
He moved to BC for the better weather in 2012, leaving Rocky Mountain behind, where he enjoyed snowboarding and hiking.
He worked in Killarney animal hospital and Champlain animal clinic in Vancouver and was acquainted with pet owners and vets in the area.
He is interested in senior pet care, preventive medicine, diagnostics and Chinese herb medicine.
He is enjoying B.C weather, ocean and mountains.
Dr. Vivien Leung, BSc, DVM, CVA
After completing a BSc at the University of British Columbia, Vivien decided to pursue a career in her childhood dreams to become a veterinarian. She started working as a veterinary assistant in Vancouver, and went on to complete her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine, Saskatoon.
She was involved in veterinary work around the world, including Uganda, Hong Kong, and Singapore, but has since returned to her home province---the beautiful British Columbia---to work as a small animal veterinarian. She was also trained at the Chi Institute in Florida for Small Animal Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine.
She has special interest in feline patients and exotic pets, as well as Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine.
Vivien speaks fluent English and Cantonese, and have working knowledge of Mandarin.
